It’s been a little while longer since last I posted but eh, I thought I needed a new updated and all. I am official twenty years old now. I turned twenty last Saturday on April 4th and it feels pretty good to be a year older. Not quite twenty-one yet that’s a whole other year away but I have officially left my teenage years. It feels a little sad to have left them but we must move on, ne?

For my birthday Jake, my mom, grandmother, aunts and uncles took me out to dinner at Red Lobster in Lynnwood, WA. It was pretty exciting since I’d never really been there before but… my god, the fooood was heavenly. That, and the waiter almost gave me a glass of wine and my mother and aunt had to stop him. I told him no when he set the glass in front of me. I guess he didn’t hear me. But still it was a total laughable moment. He said if I wouldn’t have spoken I could’ve gotten away with a glass of wine without problems. xDD

When we got home I was rewarded with cake and a few presents here and there. Nothing all that major, just some money, some tickets to the movies (with no expiration date), roses and chocolates. The latter two were from my mom and Jake. I loooooove red roses and chocolate. <33

Moving on… This coming Thursday, in two days actually, Jake, Julia (a friend of Jakey’s) and I will be heading to our hotel down in Seattle, WA for Sakura-Con 2009. We’ll be staying at the Roosevelt so if you’re at the hotel give a wave or hello to us! We’ll be heading there to check into our hotel and also pick up our passes on Level 4 of the Convention Center. That and we’ll be there all weekend for the con… so if you see us, give a shout, wave or come say hello. Believe me I won’t mind meeting people from DA there.

This year I’ll be going as The Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) and doning his full outfit. I can’t wait to see all the other cosplay outfits and what all they’ll be having this year. Eeeeeeeeee! I can’t wait! Jake and I have already bought our supplies as well started packing for our stay downtown. But ehh, that’s all I got for an update. I’ll probably write a new one either during the con or after it to share some more information. Hope to see some friends and fellow artists there!

Yooooo! Since I've been preparing my cosplay outfit for Sakura-Con. I finally got the chance to take some pictures yesterday and have updated my gallery and my journal to feature those pictures.
